Replacing Assemblies

To remove and replace the hard disk drive

Perform previous procedures:
1
• "To prepare the instrument for disassembly"
page 48
• "To remove and replace the cover"
• "To remove and replace the CPU tray"
2 Disconnect the hard drive cables.
3 Using a Torx T10 screwdriver, remove the 4 screws that
secure the hard drive to the hard drive plate. These
screws are accessible through holes the bottom of the
tray.
Reverse this procedure to install the hard disk drive.

Follow the instructions on the recovery CD to restore

your system software.
