Once again, you only need to do this on the local (host) system and not the
remote.

Go back the remote system and try to connect again.

Alternate Video Test Method:

There is an alternate method that can be used for testing the remote video connection. It is
important to note that this method will NOT use the DVS software and therefore will NOT
allow you access to any of the features provided by the DVS software. This is just for
testing purposes.
Requirements for alternate test method:

Windows PC with latest version (and updates of) Windows Media Player 9
installed

The local (host) system must be accessible via its IP Address (see the

section.)

You must know the IP Port that the local (host) system is using (read the
configure basic firewall settings

With the information that you have gathered start the Windows Media
Player.
