3.3.6.1 Send an E-Mail
To add an action that sends e-mail as a result of motion detection, select Send e-mail from
the Add Action drop-down box in the Motion Detection Alarm window and click Add. You
will see the following dialog:
As with most e-mail systems, enter the address and fill in the subject and message fields.
However, before testing or applying the Email Action, you must first configure your Email
settings in the Configuration dialog. To enter the Configuration dialog, go to the menu bar
and select View. From the drop down menu, select Configuration. Then select the Email
tab, and enter your SMTP Server and From Address as shown in the following dialog:
