Product-specific safety notices

CAUTION
!
There is a risk of injury if the product is used with
contaminated breathing air. Open connections can become
contaminated during use and during transport.
Close all open connections with the respective dust and
closure caps.
The quality of the air supply system must conform to the
requirements for breathing air as per DIN EN 12021.
Use of non-certified or defective pressure vessels
DANGER
!
Filling non-certified or defective pressure vessels can result in
personal injury and material damage. Only fill gas into
pressure vessels in perfect condition and approved for the
gas type. Never fill pressure vessels with an expired
certificate.
Not for operation in explosion-hazard areas
DANGER
!
The product may not be used in areas at risk of explosion or
when flammable gases are present. The product is not
designed for these uses. An explosion may occur under
certain circumstances.
Nitrox 200
Manipulation of pressurized components
DANGER
!
Pressurized parts, such as hoses, may come unfastened
suddenly and cause potentially fatal injuries due to the
pressure thrust.
All work on any parts of the product must only be carried out
when the device is in a depressurized state.
Always open and close the valves slowly in all given
procedures. Never unfasten or tighten tubes and pipe screw
connections under pressure.
Explosion hazard due to unsuitable materials
WARNING

Risk of explosion and fire
Oil, grease, and other materials that are not suitable for
oxygen may violently combust in combination with
oxygen and become a hazard for the users.
All parts carrying oxygen and the tools and test devices used
must be free of oil and grease.
Test devices and materials not tested and approved for
applications using oxygen are not permitted to be used
(observe the temperature and pressure ranges).
