SERVICE EVERY 100 HOURS
3. If the tension of the fan belt is incorrect, loosen the
alternator mounting bolts and, using a lever placed
between the alternator and the engine block, pull
the alternator out until the deflection of the fan belt
falls within acceptable limits.
4. Replace the fan belt if it is damaged.

WARNING
To avoid serious injury or death:
• Do not operate if the tractor moves on level
ground with foot off the speed-control-pedal.
• If the tractor moves on level ground with foot
off the speed-control-pedal, or, if the pedal is
too slow in returning to the neutral position
when removing the foot from the pedal, consult
your local KUBOTA dealer.
The HST-neutral-spring located under the front right
side of the fender can adjust returning speed of the
speed-control-pedal.
• Consult your local KUBOTA Dealer for service.

6. Adjusting the brake pedal

WARNING
To avoid serious injury or death:
• Stop the engine, remove the key, lower the
implement to the ground, and chock the wheels
before checking the brake pedal.
• Even if free travel of the brake pedal is within
the limitation, adjust the brake pedal.
• If you are not able to adjust, consult your local
KUBOTA dealer.
1. Release the parking brake.
2. Loosen the lock nut and turn the turnbuckle to
adjust the rod length so that free travel of the brake
pedal is the length shown in the following table.

3. Extend the turnbuckle 1 additional turn.
4. Retighten the lock nut.
