Testing Performance
To test the threshold accuracy
Set up the logic analyzer
In the System Configuration menu, touch System, then select 1M Sample LA
1
(HP 16555A) or 2M Sample LA (HP 16555D).
In the Configuration menu, unassign Pod 3 and Pod 4. To unassign the pods, touch

the Pod 3, Pod 4 field, then select Unassigned.
Connect the logic analyzer
Using the 17-by-2 test connector, BNC cable, and probe tip assembly, connect the

data and clock channels of Pod 1 to one side of the BNC Tee.
Using a BNC-banana cable, connect the voltmeter to the other side of the BNC Tee.

Connect the BNC Tee to the Main Signal output of the function generator.
