Transmission chain

The transmission chain, located between the gearbox and the
differential, transmits both the motive power required for
forward motion and braking power.
If it is lengthened, this causes jerks when driving which may
cause the chain to jump out of place resulting in total loss of
motive power and control of the Lawn-Tractor.
For this reason the chain must always be kept under tension
and well lubricated.

·
These machines are equipped with an automatic double tightener that requires no adjustment.
·
It is, however, indispensable to carry out a periodic check on correct operation and to check for wear on
the pinions and the chain in order to avoid any risk of the chain coming off as this results in loss of control
of the Lawn-Tractor, especially on sloping ground.
