Push the upper tube firmly onto the blower, until the lock
u
engages and an audible click is heard.
Then push the lower tube firmly into the upper tube, until
u
the lock engages and an audible click is heard.
Pull on the tubes to ensure they are securely in place.
u
To remove the tube, insert a screwdriver into the unlocking
u
hole (9) on the side of the housing. Lift the tab inside and
pull tube out.
Operation
Warning! To reduce the risk of serious personal injury, turn
unit off and remove the battery pack before making any
adjustments or removing/installing attachments or
accessories. An accidental start‑up can cause injury.
Warning! Do not operate blower without blow tube securely in
place. Never reach down into housing through tube hole.
Warning! Always wear safety glasses. Always wear
respiratory protection. Always wear hearing protection. Use of
rubber gloves and substantial footwear is recommended when
working outdoors. Keep long hair and loose clothing away
from openings and moving parts. For household use only.
Warning! Cut Hazard. When turning the tool off, wait 10
seconds for the fan to stop rotating before removing the
blower tube.
Always ensure the blower is switched OFF and the battery
u
is removed when:
-You leave blower unattended.
-Clearing a blockage.
‑Checking, adjusting, cleaning or working on blower.
Only use blower in daylight or good artificial light.
u
Inserting and removing the battery pack from the
tool (Fig. D)
Warning! Before removing or installing battery, make certain
the trigger switch (1) is in the off position to prevent switch
actuation.
Note: Make sure your battery pack (6) is fully charged.
To install the battery pack into the tool handle
Align the battery pack (6) with the rails inside the tool's
u
handle (Fig. D).
Slide it into the handle until the battery pack is firmly
u
seated in the tool and ensure that you hear the lock snap
into place.
To remove the battery pack from the tool
Press the release button (7) and firmly pull the battery
u
pack out of the tool handle.
Insert battery pack into the charger as described in the
u
charger section of this manual.
Proper hand position (Fig. E)

ALWAYS use proper hand position as shown.

ALWAYS hold securely in anticipation of a sudden reaction.
Proper hand position requires one hand on the main handle
(3).
Switching on (Fig. F)
Warning! Use both hands to grip the product firmly when
switching on.
Warning! Do not point unit discharge at self or bystanders.
Warning! Always wear safety glasses and hearing protection.
Wear a filter mask if the operation is dusty. Use of gloves, long
pants and substantial footwear is recommended. Keep long
hair and loose clothing away from openings and moving parts.
To turn the blower on, depress the variable speed trigger
u
(1).
Release the variable speed trigger (1) to turn the blower
u
off.
Hold the blower with one hand as shown in Fig. E and
u
sweep from side to side with the tube (4) several inches
above the hard surface. Slowly advance keeping the
accumulated pile of debris in front of you.
Boost Button
The boost button (2) is located on the tool handle. It allows
you to optimize the tools performance and boost the power as
needed.
Switch the blower on.
u
To activate the boost mode, press the boost button down.
u
To deactivate the boost mode, press the boost button
u
down.
Operate in normal mode for most blowing needs. (Longer
u
runtime will be achieved.)
Activate boost mode as needed to clear heavy debris.
u
Weather Guard
This product (not including the battery pack or charger) has
some level of protection from liquids (light splashing) during
normal and reasonable use.
Warning! The battery and charger do not have Weather
Guard protection.
Warning! NEVER submerge the product, battery or charger in
liquid or use in the rain.

Maintenance

Your STANLEY FATMAX power tool has been designed to
operate over a long period of time with a minimum of
maintenance. Continuous satisfactory operation depends
upon proper tool care and regular cleaning.

tool off and disconnect battery pack before making any
adjustments or removing/installing attachments or
accessories. An accidental start‑up can cause injury.
