An electronically controlled door in the escape route must be identified: A
sign (pictogram) must be affixed on the inside of an electronically controlled
door in the escape route. This sign must be affixed for identification of the Emer-
gency Open push-button.
Impaired function due to warped door locks: Distorted and warped door locks
and fittings do not function securely. Ensure that the lock and security fitting
are not distorted or taut when installed. Check that all handles or knobs move
smoothly.
Risk of damage due to door processing with integrated lock: When carrying
out work on doors with an installed lock, the lock may be damaged. Only carry
out work on the door with the lock removed. Remove dirt such as chips or dust
before installing the lock and the security fitting.
Risk of damage due to sharp edges and kinks:Sharp edges, kinks and high levels
of tension damage the connecting cables. Only route the connection cables over
blunt edges. Avoid kinks.
· In metal profiles: Connecting cables should be routed in protective tubes.
· Inside the door leaf and door frame: Include adequately sized cable loops in the
installation pockets.
