Preparing measurements

Safety
CAUTION
Hot probe shaft may cause burns!
> Wear safety gloves.
> Allow the probe shaft to cool down after a measurement.
Preventing product damage
> Check the fill level of the condensate trap. Empty it if the level is
past the

> Check and clean the gas sampling probe at the very latest after
50 measurements, see Cleaning / replacing the gas sampling
probe, page 34.
> Check the particle filter for signs of contamination. Change the
filter if it is contaminated, see Replacing the particle filter, page
33.
> Check that there is enough filter paper in the instrument
(service lid window). Replace the filter paper when it has been
used up, see Changing the filter paper, page 30.
