Installing the Printer Driver Under DOS

Use the following procedure to install the DOS Printing Utilities.

Connect your printer to the parallel port of your computer.

Turn on your computer and start up DOS.

Turn on your printer and make sure it is online.

Insert the
Printer Driver
ROM drive.
• In this example, we will assume that
ROM drive.

Enter the name that has been designated to your CD-ROM drive.
For example, if your CD-ROM is designated as "drive D", enter:
C:\>D:

Specify the directory under which the DOS printing utility is
located:
D:\>cd dosutlty

Type install
D:\dosutlty\install
CD-ROM into your computer's CD-
