750-522 [2 DO AC 230 V SSR, 3.0 A/ 30 s]
Description
The switching status of the two relays is indicated via green status LEDs.
In addition, a red error-LED for either channel will show if there are any ther-
mal case of overload at the outputs.
In the event of an overload, each output has its own overload protection which
is realized via an internal temperature limit.
In case of an overload, one error bit per channel (bit 0 or bit 1) is set in the in-
put process image. The master control can identify the error with this bit.
The affected output is immediately switched off by the built-in thermal fuse
and the relay will open.
After the output connection has cooled down, the output is triggered again and
the relay will close.
Simultaneously, the error bit is reset in the process image and the error LED
goes off.
An optocoupler is used for electrical isolation between the bus and the field
side.
Any configuration of the output modules is possible when designing the field-
bus node. Grouping of module types is not necessary.
Attention
An additional supply module must be added for the field supply with AC 35 V
to 230 V.
The AC 35 V to 230 V supply voltage for the field side, the N (neutral con-
ductor) and the earth (ground) potential is made automatically through the in-
dividual I/O modules by means of power jumper contacts.
Warning
The maximum current of the internal power jumper contacts is 10 A. When
configuring the system it is important not to exceed the maximum/sum cur-
rent. However, if such a case should occur, another supply module must be
added.
Note
For the protection of relay coils and contacts, inductive loads must be damp-
ened with an effective protection circuit!
Examples of protection circuits can be seen in the section 2.1.2 "Contact
Protective Circuit for Relay Modules".
The output module 750-522 can be used with all couplers/controllers of the
WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM 750.
