Hygienic Weighing Module Contego® 1 General information General information This quick guide describes the weighing module Contego® mounting operation. A detailed description is given in the installation manual. Make absolutely sure you follow the safety instructions in the installation manual. -

Hygienic Weighing Module Contego® 2 Assembly Note: The weighing module is delivered preassembled. The lift-of protector is adjusted in a way that the load cell is unloaded. Thus overloading the load cell during installation is prevented. When using adapter plates, a 13mm socket wrench with insert according to DIN3124(long version) is required for mounting. - Page 7 2 Assembly Hygienic Weighing Module Contego® 4. Fit the mounting kit to the vessel foot. It is essential to observe the tightening torques of the screws and the property classes of the screws (4×) and washers (4×), see installation manual.
- Page 8 Hygienic Weighing Module Contego® 2 Assembly 6. Mark the boreholes and the seating (outline) of the lower plate on the foundation. 7. Lift the vessel. Note: Shown without upper plate and load cell. 8. Make the boreholes for the threaded pins/stud bolts.
- Page 9 2 Assembly Hygienic Weighing Module Contego® 9. It is indispensable to insert the threaded pins/stud bolts vertically with the required height 'H', see installation manual. 10. Place the adapter plate onto the bottom within the circumferential marking and fasten it with screws. It is essential to observe the tightening torques of the screws and the property classes of the screws (4×) and washers (4×), see installation manual.
- Page 10 Hygienic Weighing Module Contego® 2 Assembly 11. Insert the O-ring into the groove of the lower plate. 12. Place vessel on the adapter plates and screw on the bottom plate. It is essential to observe the tightening torques of the screws and the property classes of the screws (4×) and washers (4×), see installation manual.

- Page 12 Hygienic Weighing Module Contego® 2 Assembly 16. Turn the threaded bolt back by 1…1½ revolutions (approx. 2 mm) to adjust the spacing. 17. Re-tighten the nut of the lift-of protector. It is essential to observe the tightening torques, see Installation Manual.
- Page 13 2 Assembly Hygienic Weighing Module Contego® 18. Check whether shaft or/and roller can move freely. If shaft or/and roller cannot be moved, the weighing module is distorted and must be adjusted: 19. Loosen screws. 20. Shift the stopper, until shaft or/and roller can move freely again.
