The following conditions cause the EMU to increase fan speed:
Removing a fan module
A fan operating too slowly
A stalled fan
An increase in enclosure temperature
NOTE: Replace any defective fan immediately.
Status Indications
Each fan module contains status LEDs that indicate its current operating status (see
Figure 7–2).
