Searching for directories
Press the A/PS button

If there are no directories on the CD, ROOT is shown on the display.
Turn the multi-controller to switch between the available directories.
Press the BD/ENT button to select the currently displayed directory.
Playback of the fi rst track from the selected directory starts immediately.
The device can process USB data media with capacities of up to 16 GB. The
directory structure may contain a maximum of 1024 folders, 4096 fi les and a
directory depth of 8 levels.
Open the protective cover of the USB port.
Connect your USB device to the USB port
or WMA fi les on the data medium and USB PLAY appears on the display.
Playback of the MP3 or WMA tracks on the USB device begins automati-
cally.
When you remove your USB device, the car stereo will automatically switch
to radio operation and play the last station you set.
To protect against dirt, replace the protective cover when if no USB device
is connected.
The operations for playing fi les on the external data medium as well as the
search function are exactly the same as with MP3 CDs.
If the device is in another mode (CD PLAY, Radio, AUX or SD PLAY),
you can select the USB data medium using the MD/LD button
