Locking and Unlocking the Phone

If your phone is deployed with AudioCodes solution for Microsoft® Lync™ Server 2010, you can
lock your phone to prevent anyone from using it (such as making and receiving calls). To unlock
your phone, you need to enter a password.

4.12.1 Single-Line Mode

The procedures below describe how to lock and then unlock your phone.

To lock your phone:

Press the star (*) key for a few seconds (about 3 seconds); the phone locks and the lock
icon is displayed on the screen, as shown below:

To unlock your phone:
1. Press the star key until you are prompted for the unlock password:
2. Enter the password, and then press the OK softkey; the phone is unlocked and the lock icon
no longer appears on the screen.

This feature is applicable only when your phone is deployed with
AudioCodes solution for Microsoft Lync and is enabled by your system
administrator. For more information, refer to the Administrator's Manual.

To obtain the unlocking password, contact your system administrator.

When the phone is locked, the emergency number as defined by your
system administrator can be dialed.
