5. USING THE TOOL

5.1. START-UP OF THE TOOL

1. Press the switch (1) on the handle of the tool.
Note
The tool starts in the previously-selected
mode, see Section 5.3, "Description of the op-
erating modes".

5.2. USAGE TIPS

Warning
• Never start the tool with the vibration rake already in the foliage.
• Do leave the battery lying out in the sun.
• Becoming familiar with the Olivion Power 48 P230 / T220-300 tool entails several hours of practice and adaptation
of the harvesting system (wide nets).
• It is advisable to start from the root of branch and work outwards to avoid stepping on fallen olives.
• Start harvesting at the root of the branch and work towards its tip (in the direction of the foliage) to optimize the
drop pattern of the olives.
• In order to minimize the vibrations transmitted to the upper arms and lessen the working fatigue, do not grip
the tool too tightly.
• If the tool jolts suddenly in the plant growth, it may switch to safe mode and stop.
• To restart it, press the start/stop push button on the tool.
