Preparing the product for use
INFORMATION
On the topic of disassembly/transport: see Page 27.
It only takes a few simple steps to prepare the wheelchair (see fig. 5) for use:
Zenit; Zenit CLT – folding version
1) Only if necessary: Attach the drive wheels to the quick-release axle mounting (see fig. 6). The quick-release
axles must not be removable after releasing the push-button.
2) Unfold the wheelchair by pulling the drive wheel to the side (see fig. 7).
Ensure that the folding mechanism is fully unfolded. Hearing the folding mechanism engage audibly indicates
that the folding process is complete.
3) Only with "Folding back support" option: Pull the release strap for the folding mechanism of the back sup
port in the direction of travel of the wheelchair and fold the back support up (see fig. 8). In doing so, ensure
that both back support tubes engage in the upright position (see fig. 9).
Only with "Leg support with unlocking" option: Firmly press down the foot plate until the locking mechan
ism engages (see Page 18).
4) If necessary, fold the push handles up (see fig. 10).
5) Fit the seat cushion. The seat cushion is secured against sliding by being pressed onto the hook-and-loop clos
ure.
