I Priority watch operation

q Select VFO mode; then, set an operating frequency.
w Set the watching channel(s).
For memory channel watch:
Select the desired memory channel.
For memory scan watch:
Select memory mode; then, push [V/MHz(SCAN)] for
1 sec. to start memory scan.
For call channel watch:
Select the call channel by pushing [M/CALL(PRIO)] sev-
eral times.
e Push [M/CALL(PRIO)] for 1 sec. to start the watch.
• The transceiver checks the memory or call channel every 5 sec.
• The watch resumes according to the selected scan resume con-
dition. (p. 42)
• While the watch is pausing, pushing [M/CALL(PRIO)] resumes
the watch manually.
r Push [M/CALL(PRIO)] while the display shows the mem-
ory channel to stop the watch.
While pausing or receiving
a signal on the memory or
call channel, "PRIO" and
decimal point blink.

channel.
