Operating Temperatures
All 5320 Series switch models support an operating range from 0°C (32°F) to 50°C (122°F). The
5320-16P-4XE models, both AC and DC, and fan off, support an operating range from 0°C (32°F) to
35°C (95°F).

Feature Licensing

The ExtremeSwitching 5320 Series switches support Unified Licensing, so that you can use them with
multiple operating systems. There are two methods of acquiring feature licenses: manual or through
ExtremeCloud IQ™ (XIQ).

5320-48T-8XE Switch Features

The front panel of the switch includes:
48 10/100/1000BASE-T (autosensing) MACsec capable ports.
6 1Gb SFP MACsec capable uplink ports (unpopulated) upgradeable to 10Gb
2 10Gb Stacking/SFP+ ports (unpopulated)
1 Serial console port (RJ-45)
1 USB Type-A port for management or external flash
1 USB Micro-B console port

Note
The 10/100 ports support half duplex; the 1000 port supports full duplex. Half-duplex is
not supported on these ports when operating at 1Gbps.
Note
These ports support 10Gb when stacking without a license. They support 10Gb as Ethernet
ports when they are upgraded with the appropriate license.
