Before turning the scope on, set the front panel controls as
follows, referring to the section on front panel in this m a n -
ual.
[1] NORMAL SWEEP DISPLAY OPERATION
1. Turn the P O W E R control ©

3. Vertical M O D E
Apply an input signal to channel 1 INPUT jack © and
adjust V O L T S / D I V © for a suitable size display of the
waveform. If the waveform does not appear in the dis-
play, use the B E A M FIND ©
adjust the V O L T S / D I V and ^ POSITION to bring the
waveform comfortably into the center of the C R T dis-
play.
