lected in V I D E O , the trigger level adjustment
has no effect.
S L O P E , P U L L FIX:
Adjusts the slope of the A trigger signal.
+equals most positive point of triggering and
- e q u a l s most negative point of triggering.
W h e n the control is pulled out the F I X mode

C H 3 or A E X T T R I G J a c k
Input terminal of channel 3 signal or A external trigger
signal.
Channel 3 signal may be observed s i m u l -
taneously w i t h channel 1 , 2 and 4 signals w h e n the
vertical M O D E s w i t c h is selected in QUAD.
W h e n the S O U R C E s w i t c h is set to either E X T (CH3)
1 / 1 or 1 / 1 0 , s w e e p is triggered by this input signal.

Four-position lever s w i t c h ; selects the triggering source
for the B s w e e p , with following positions;
C H 1 :
B s w e e p is triggered by channel 1 signal.
C H 2 :
B s w e e p is triggered by channel 2 signal.
1 / 1 :
B s w e e p is triggered by channel 4 signal.
1 / 1 0 :
B s w e e p is triggered by channel 4 signal atten-
uated to 1 / 1 0 .
(§) C O U P L I N G S w i t c h
Four-position
lever s w i t c h ;
trigger signal.
A C :
Trigger is a c coupled. Blocks dc component of
input signal.
L F R E J :
Trigger is coupled through a high-pass filter to
eliminate low frequency components for stable
triggering of high frequency signals.
H F R E J :
Trigger is coupled through a l o w - p a s s filter to
eliminate high frequency components for s t a -
ble triggering of low frequency signals.
DC:
Trigger is dc coupled for s y n c w h i c h includes
the effects of dc components.

A U T O :
Triggered s w e e p operation.
signal is present, automatically generates
s w e e p (free runs in absence of trigger s i g -
nal.)
NORM: Normal triggered s w e e p operation. No trace
is presented w h e n a proper trigger signal is
not applied.
S I N G L E : Single s w e e p operation. Note that in this
mode, simultaneous observation of both the
A and B s w e e p s is not possible.
N O T E ;
For dual or quad trace, single s w e e p opera-
tion, vertical M O D E must not be set to A L T .
Use the CHOP mode instead.
