When operating this oscilloscope, refer to panel controls and their functions. When starting this oscilloscope
set initially, set the operating controls as follows and the set may be turned on safely.

1. Select the position of the power voltage selec-
tor plug as indicated by the arrow marks. Then
insert the supplied power cord to the power
connector.
2. Turn

Adjust brightness by P O W E R / I N T E N (14). If <-
trace line is unclear, adjust F O C U S (15).
4. The oscilloscope is now ready for measure-
ment.
For measurement, proceed as follows:
Apply signal voltage to the input terminals (2)

(16) to INT, the C H 1 input signal to INPUT ter-
minal (2) will appear. When the M O D E switch
(6) is set to C H 2 , then the input signal to
INPUT terminal (10) will appear on the scope.
When the M O D E switch (6) is set to D U A L ,
two waveforms (CH1 and CH2) will appear on
the scope, at this time, the CH1 signal to the
INPUT terminal (2) is fed to the syncro circuit
where the CH 1 signal is synchronized. When
the M O D E switch (6) is set to A D D , the CH 1
signal is algebraically added to the CH2 signal
(CH 1 +
C H 2 ) . By pulling C H 2 P O L A R I T Y
