Reverse this procedure to install the connector board cable.

To remove the connector board, use this procedure and illustration.

NOTE:
The connector board spare part kit does not include the connector board cable. The connector board
cable is included in the Cable Kit, spare part number N09040-001.
Before removing the connector board, follow these steps:

Prepare the computer for disassembly (see

Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see

Remove the connector board cable (see
Remove the connector board:
1.
Remove the three Phillips M2.0 × 2.5 screws (1) that secure the cable retainer and I/O bracket to the
computer.
2.
Remove the cable retainer (2) and I/O bracket (3) from the computer.
The cable retainer and I/O bracket are included in the Bracket Kit, spare part number N09030-001.
