Cleaning and care

To clean the drive shaft and the hand element 3, allow a
little water to flow over them. To do this, hold the hand ele-
ment 3 so that the drive shaft is pointing downwards. Make
sure that no water gets into the battery compartment.
After use, clean the brush head 1/5 thoroughly under
running water.
You should fit a new brush head 1 after about 3 months, or
when the bristles start to bend outwards.
NOTE
You can order replacement brush heads at any time (see
section "Ordering replacement parts").
You can also use any of the Oral-B* and Nevadent brush
heads currently available on the market.

Disposal

Under no circumstance should the appliance be
disposed of with the normal domestic waste. This
product is subject to the provisions of European
Directive 2012/19/EU.
Dispose of the appliance via an approved waste disposal com-
pany or your municipal waste disposal facility. Please observe
applicable regulations. Please contact your waste disposal
facility if you are in any doubt.
Used batteries may not be disposed of in the
domestic waste.
Consumers are legally obligated to dispose of batteries at a col-
lection point in their community/city district or at a retail store.
The purpose of this obligation is to ensure that batteries are
disposed of in an environmentally congruent manner. Only
dispose of batteries when they are fully discharged.
Dispose of all packaging materials in an environmen-
tally friendly manner.
Dispose of the packaging in an environmentally
friendly manner.
Note the labelling on the packaging and separate
the packaging material components for disposal if
necessary. The packaging material is labelled with
abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with the following
meanings: 1–7: Plastics,
20–22: Paper and cardboard,
80–98: Composites.
Your local community or municipal authorities can
provide information on how to dispose of the
worn-out product.
The product is recyclable, subject to extended
producer responsibility and is collected separately.
