GPIO Pin Selection
–
In Single-Pin mode, users can set and access one pin at a time. Select the
pin number from the Pin number menu to set the pin and obtain its individual
value. Pins are numbered from 0 to the total number of GPIO pins minus 1.
–
In Multi-Pin mode, users can set and access the entire bank of pins simulta-
neously. Select the pin bank number from the Bank number menu to set and
obtain the values for an entire bank pins.
Supported Inputs/Outputs for GPIO Pins
–
The supported inputs and outputs data indicate whether each pin is available
or controllable as an input or output. A value of 1 indicates that the specified
transmission direction is supported. In the example screenshot provided
above, the board only supports eight GPIO pins in Bank 0.
Mask for GPIO Pins
–
Masks are used to define which pins are enabled (Bit 1) or disabled (Bit 0) for
setting or obtaining the direction and level.
–
Before setting the direction and level of GPIO pins, mask values should be
specified. Zero cannot be set as the value for all masks.
Direction Setting
–
The Direction value specifies the I/O direction of each pin; 1 denotes input
and 0 denotes output.
–
Click the <Set/Get> button to set/get the Direction value.
Level Setting
–
The Level value specifies the pin level; 1 denotes high level and 0 denotes
low level.
–
Click the <Set/Get> button to set/get the Level value. If a pin direction is set
as 1, the Level value cannot be specified.
