Note: The throttle valve does not close when starting a warm engine or at a relatively high ambient
temperature. Under these conditions, do not pull the vacuum cleaner when starting the engine.
4.1. Switch the ignition key to position I.
4.2. Pull the "sucker" (depending on the ambient temperature).
4.3. When the engine starts, there is a chance of a kickback from the starter. Therefore, take a
correct and stable position when pulling the manual starter.
4.4. Carefully pull on the hand starter, gripping the handle comfortably until you feel resistance.
Then pull it sharply.
4.5. Attention! Do not allow the starter rope to curl sharply back into the engine. Return it
carefully to avoid damaging the starter.
4.6. After starting the engine, increase the speed to the required level using the throttle lever.
5. Stop the engine. Reduce engine speed by releasing the throttle. Let the engine run for about 30
seconds, then move the ignition key to position 0 (Stop).
6. Support. Periodic inspections and adjustments are required to keep the motor pole saw at
optimum performance. Regular maintenance will extend its life.
Attention! You must switch off the engine before any maintenance work on the motor pole saw!
6.1. Inspection and maintenance must be carried out by authorized persons, unless you have the
appropriate tools and skills to do so.
Please note that maintenance is recommended under normal operating conditions. If you use the
motor pole saw in other conditions, we recommend that you consult your dealer.
6.2. Switch off the engine and remove the spark plug cable before checking.
6.3. Allow the engine and manifold to cool so that you do not get burned by hot surfaces.
6.4. Wear protective gloves so as not to cut yourself on any of the sharp elements.
Drain all fuel from the engine if you are going to store the motor pole saw for more than a month.
The items in the list below should be serviced by an experienced professional if you do not have the
appropriate tools and qualifications.
The engine cooling vents must always be clean and free. These are the openings on the starter
side.
7. Preparation for work.
7.1. In the event that several successive cutting operations are required, the pole saw must be
switched off by means of a start switch between these operations.
7.2. Installation of the Guide bar and the pole saw chain.
To adjust the tension of the chain is a screw with a nut with a pin, which enters the designated
hole of the Guide bar. It is especially important when mounting the rail that the nut pin enters the
hole in the rail.
