1. General instructions for safe work.
The gasolinepole saw is designed and constructed in accordance with the norms of the European
Union and the rules for safety and environmental protection. However, safety is up to you, so read
these instructions carefully before using the machine to get acquainted with the correct use and its
capabilities. Read all instructions carefully. Failure to follow the instructions below may result in fire
and / or serious injury. Keep these instructions in a safe place. The manufacturer and importer are
not liable for injuries and damage that may occur as a result of non-compliance with the instructions
and safety instructions described in these instructions for use.
The user assumes all risk in case of use of the pruner for other purposes, realizing that this can be
dangerous.
1.1. Workplace.
The workplace should be maintained in order and good lighting provided.
Do not allow children and bystanders to the workplace.
1.2. Instructions for safe operation of the gasolineengine.
1.2.1. Gasoline fuel is highly flammable and can explode under certain conditions.
1.2.2. Refuel only when the engine is not running, in a clean and ventilated place. Do not smoke or
allow open flames or sparks in places where fuel is refueled or stored.
1.2.3. Do not allow fuel to overflow from the tank. Be sure to tighten the tank cap well after filling.
1.2.4. When refueling, be careful not to spill gasoline around, as gasoline fumes can easily ignite
and cause a fire. Be sure to wipe up spilled gasoline before starting the engine.
1.2.5. Avoid frequent skin contact with gasoline or breathing gasoline fumes. Keep gasoline out of
the reach of children.
1.2.6. Do not start the engine indoors because the exhaust gases produced by the running engine
contain toxic carbon monoxide, which can lead to loss of consciousness or even death.
1.2.7. Always switch off the engine and remove the spark plug pipe before carrying out any work on
the rotating elements and before carrying out any cleaning, repair or inspection of the machine. Wait
for the engine and rotating vanes to come to a complete stop before cleaning or maintaining the
machine.
1.2.8. Store the machine in a dry place. Never store gasolinein the tank where fumes can ignite.
1.2.9. All covers, guards and handles must be installed before starting work. Make sure that the
spark plug cap and the ignition cable are in good condition to avoid the risk of electric shock.
1.3. Instructions for safe work.
1.3.1. Never allow children or people unfamiliar with the machine to operate it. National legislation in
some countries may limit the age limit of the consumer.
1.3.2. During operation, the machine operator must be careful not to approach people or animals
within a radius of 15m. When several operators operate in the same section, a safe distance must
be observed.
1.3.3. Always be careful and prudent. Do not operate the machine when you are tired or after taking
medications or substances that reduce your attention and ability to react.
1.3.4. If you have long hair, you need to tie it and take all precautions so that it is not caught by
moving parts. Your clothing should be work-oriented. Do not wear jewelry or loose clothing, as they
may be caught by moving parts.
Use clothes on the body and stable high shoes with grippers. Wear strong and tight gloves. They
reduce vibrations to the hands.
1.3.5. Use thick gloves to protect your hands when cleaning, inspecting, or replacing accessories.
1.3.6. Be careful with the rotating blades of the machine during operation. The rotating elements
rotate very fast and can cause extremely serious accidents. Keep your hands and feet away from
the rotating parts.
