If your processor doesn't seem to be working properly, try to find
its symptom in the left column, then try the cure from the right column.
If it still gives you trouble, call your dealer for possible service infor-
mation.
SYMPTOM
Display doesn't light
Display lights but
no sound
No effect (dry sound only)
Sounds are distorted
(CLIP LED flickers)
Sounds are distorted
(CLIP LED does not flicker)
Metronome won't turn off
Tuner doesn't work, or
flickers excessively
Footswitch doesn't work,
or doesn't work properly
Display only shows "F,"
unit doesn't respond

CURE
Check AC adapter connection at
both ends
Check INPUT and OUTPUT levels;
check IN and OUT connections;
move INSERT connection to
INVERTED (if using INSERT jack)
Increase MIX control
Reduce INPUT level and increase
OUTPUT to compensate as needed
INPUT level may be too low and/or
OUTPUT level too high
1: Turn PROGRAM to 99
2: Press EDIT button
3: Press #4 button until LEVEL LED
is lit
4: Turn PROGRAM to 00
5: Press EDIT button
Turn off all other effects before the
processor in the effects chain.
(Noise gate and compressor are
OK)
Make sure instrument volume is on
full and INPUT level is as high as
possible without lighting CLIP LED.
Select the bridge pickup, pick one
string at a time, mute other strings.
Pluck string above middle pickup
with consistent, medium pressure
Make sure you are using the right
FOOTSWITCH IN jack for your type
of footswitch (see pages 25-34)
Reset the unit: pull the power cord,
hold EDIT button down, reapply
power, release EDIT button after 2
seconds (if that doesn't work call for
service)
