ASSIGNING AN EFFECT: Use the footswitch to turn the amp's cho-
rus off, then turn the processor's PROGRAM knob to effect #1*.
Pressing the EDIT button twice will lock this setting into memory for
use later. Step on the footswitch and select effect #2 for the amp's
chorus on setting. Now, when you use the footswitch to turn off the
amp's chorus, the processor remembers its assigned setting and
applies effect #1 to the amp. Turn the chorus on with the footswitch
and the processor assigns effect #2 to the amp.
THE LEDs: With a one-button footswitch connected, the processor's
LED #1 acts as the preset indicator. LED #2 will remain off, and LEDs
#3 and 4 will remain on and are inaccessible in this hookup. The pre-
set/LED configuration is as follows:
PRESET 1: Amp's chorus off
PRESET 2: Amp's chorus on
TO EDIT: To use the edit feature with a one-button footswitch con-
nected, press the processor's EDIT button. The STYLE LED will light.
Use the PROGRAM knob to change the editable parameter of the
effect (see pages 15 through 18), then press in and hold the #4 but-
ton. The LEVEL LED will be lit when the #4 button is held down. Turn
the PROGRAM knob to adjust the level, then release the #4 button
and press the EDIT button one more time to return to normal use.
*For purpose of example only – you may assign any effect you want
to any amp setting you want.
