The processor has a group of discrete stereo effects (programs
85-96) which apply a different effect to each of the stereo inputs.
There are two variations to this theme: (A) discrete mono outputs (one
effect on one channel and a different one of the left) and (B) stereo
mix output (a blending of both channels).
(A) Discrete mono inputs / discrete mono outputs:
This applies different effects to each of the stereo inputs and
sends each through to the respective mono output (left to left, right to
right). This is the same as having two mono processors, one for each
channel. These effects are designed for use with two effect sends and
two mono returns. (See the drawings beneath "B".)
(B) Discrete mono inputs / stereo mix output:
This applies different effects to each of the stereo inputs, then
mixes the stereo outputs of each effect to one stereo output. This is
the same as having separate stereo processors and mixing both
stereo outputs down to a single stereo mix. These effects are
designed for use with stereo sends and returns. (See the drawings
below.)
