Using a Two-Button Footswitch:
In this example, a two-button footswitch is used to control the amp's
channel select and reverb on/off, and to assign 4 preset effects to the
amplifier settings.
1: Connect the processor to the amplifier as usual.
2: Connect the two-button footswitch to the processor's FS IN 1 jack.
(See drawing below.)
3: Connect a stereo cable from the processor's FS OUT 1 jack to the
amp's dual-function footswitch jack. (See drawing below.)

You can now use the footswitch to switch between the amp's chan-
nels and to turn the reverb on and off. Notice how the processor's
LEDs #1 and 2 and the display window change as you toggle the
footswitch buttons. You can assign four effects to the amp: one for
each of its channel selection and another for each of its "reverb on/off"
settings, as described below.
ASSIGNING AN EFFECT: Use the footswitch to set the amp to chan-
nel A, reverb off. Turn the processor's PROGRAM knob to the effect
#1* (pressing the EDIT button twice locks these settings into memo-
ry). Click the #2 footswitch button to turn on the amp's reverb, then set
the processor to effect #2. Use the footswitch to set the amp to chan-
nel B, reverb off, and set the processor to effect #3. Click the #2
footswitch button to turn on the amp's reverb, then set the processor
to effect #4.
Now when you use the footswitch to set the amp to channel A,
reverb off, the processor assigns effect #1 to the amp. Turn on the
reverb, and the processor applies effect #2. Footswitch over to chan-
nel B and turn off the reverb, the processor goes to effect #3. Switch
on the reverb and the processor changes effect #4.
*For purpose of example only – you may assign any effect you want
to any amp setting you want.
