The processor has a built-in metronome (program 99) which
sounds a lot like wooden rhythm sticks. The speed and volume of the
metronome are user-adjustable, and can be used with any of the
effects programs (but not with the test tones and tuner programs). To
use the metronome, follow this example:
Example 7: Using the Metronome:
1. Turn the PROGRAM knob until the display window shows "99."
2. Press the EDIT button.
3. Press the #4 button until the LEVEL LED is lit.
4. Turn the PROGRAM knob up until the sound of the rhythm sticks
is at a comfortable level.
5. Press the #4 button until the STYLE LED is lit. (The display works
with the #1 and #2 LEDs to show the tempo. The factory preset is
100, therefore the #1 LED lights up and the display reads "00.")
6. Turn the PROGRAM knob to the left until the #1 LED goes out and
the display reads "60." The metronome is now set for 60 beats per
minute.
7. Press the EDIT button again. The display now reads "99" (the
metronome program.)
8. Turn the PROGRAM one click to the right. The program is now at
"00" with the 60 bpm tapping along with it. The metronome will stay
on as you go through your presets and/or turn the PROGRAM
knob.
There are two ways to turn the metronome off:
1A. Save the current effects program (other than the metronome) by
pressing the EDIT button twice.
2A. Turn the PROGRAM knob to "99" (metronome), then back to the
program you saved in step 1A. This loads the defaults into pro-
gram 99 (volume at 0) and turns the metronome off.
or...
1B. If the metronome is saved in a preset, select it. Otherwise, turn the
PROGRAM knob to "99."
2B. Press the EDIT button.
3B. Press the #4 button until the LEVEL LED is lit.
4B. Turn the PROGRAM knob until the display reads "00."
5B. Press the EDIT button again. The metronome is now off.
If you have the metronome saved as a preset, all other effects
will carry the metronome beat if you press the metronome pre-
set button, then other presets. To clear the metronome from the
preset, turn it off, then choose a different program for the preset
that had the metronome. The metronome will no longer appear
at that preset.
