Using a "Four-Button" Footswitch (2 two-button):
In this example, two two-button footswitches are used to control the
amp's channel select, reverb on/off and chorus on/off, and to assign 2
preset effects to each of the eight amplifier settings, for a total of 16
assignable preset effects.
1: Connect the processor to the amplifier as usual.
2: Connect the "left" two-button footswitch to the processor's FS IN 1
jack. Connect the "right" footswitch to the processor's FS IN 2 jack.
(See drawing below.)
3: Connect a stereo cable from the processor's FS OUT 1 jack to the
amp's dual-function footswitch jack. Plug a mono cable 1/2-way in
to the processor's FS OUT 2 jack and connect it to the amp's sin-
gle-function footswitch jack. (See drawing below.)

You can now use the footswitch to switch between the amp's chan-
nels, to turn the reverb on and off, to turn the chorus on and off, and
to select two effects for each amp setting. Assigning an effect to an
amp setting is the same as described on page 31, in the three-button
footswitch section. The four channel A and four channel B combina-
tions will be set in the same manner as described, except the #4
footswitch button will be used to turn the chorus on and off (NOT the
#3 button). The #3 footswitch button provides an "alternate" effect for
each of the amp's settings, as shown on the facing page.
