CH1 $ POSITION
Rotation adjusts vertical position of CH1 waveform on
the screen. In X - Y operation, this control adjusts Y axis
position.

Vertical attenuator for channel 1 . Provides step adjust-
ment of vertical sensitivity in 1-2-5 sequence. V A R I -
A B L E
(3) control is turned to the C A L position, the
calibrated vertical sensitivity is obtained. In X - Y opera-
tion, this control serves as the attenuator for Y axis.

CH1 VARIABLE Control
Rotation provides fine control of channel 1 vertical
sensitivity. In the fully clockwise ( C A L ) position, the
vertical attenuator is calibrated. In X - Y operation, this
control serves as the Y axis attenuation fine adjust-
ment.
(4) C H 1 AC-GND-DC
This switch is the C H 1 vertical axis coupling mode
selector, for X - Y operation, the Y-axis coupling mode
control.
A C :
A C input coupling with blocking of any DC
signal component.
GND:
Vertical amplifier is disconnected from the in-
put signal and connected to ground. This mode
is useful in determining the zero reference.
D C :
D C coupling, w i t h both the D C and A C com-
ponents of the input signal displayed on the
C R T .

CH2 VOLTS/DIV
Vertical attenuator for C H 2 . Provides the same func-
tion as V O L T S / D I V Control (2) for C H 1 . In X - Y opera-
tion, the control serves as the X-axis attenuator.

CH2 VARIABLE Control
Rotation provides fine control of channel 2 vertical
sensitivity.
Provides the same function as V A R I A B L E Control (§)
for C H 1 .
In X - Y operation, this control serves for X-axis at-
tenuation fine adjustment.
(8) CH1 AC-GND-DC
Selects the coupling of channel 2 vertical input signal.
In X - Y operation, the s w i t c h provides input selection of
X-axis and performs the same function as A C - G N D - D C
