(§) S W E E P V A R I A B L E Control
This is the s w e e p rate fine-adjustment control, which
a l l o w s
c o n t i n u o u s
TIME/DIV ranges.
The sweep rate can be calibrated when the control is
turned fully clockwise to the C A L position.
(§) SWEEP TIME/DIV
Horizontal coarse s w e e p time selector.
Selects
calibrated
sweep times
10 ns/div in 2 3 steps when sweep time V A R I A B L E
control @) is set to C A L position (fully clockwise).
Measurement in the range between 0.1 /ts/div and
1 0 ns/div is automatically performed in the equivalent
sampling mode, allowing observations of
waveforms. A t the same time, the bandwidth is ex-
tended to 1 0 0 MHz provided that the vertical axis at-
tenuator
is in the
range between
5 V/div.
@
POSITION/PULL x 1 0 MAG
Horizontal position controller, which provides horizon-
tal shift of w a v e f o r m . By pulling the knob, the sweep
time is quickened ten times.
In the X - Y operation mode. It functions as an X posi-
tion controller. Also functions a s an X position con-
troller of the storage waveform.
NOTE: In X - Y operation,
(normal s w e e p mode).
(§) HOLDOFF
Adjusts the sweep-to-sweep interval. Turning
HOLDOFF from the NORM (full c . c . w . ) position varies
the holdoff time to more than x 10 at the M A X (full
c.w.)
position.

clockwise, the cursor line moves upward or rightward:
by rotating counterclockwise, it moves downward or

(§)
A REF
Controller for shifting the reference cursor (small-
dotted line) out of t w o cursor lines displayed on the
C R T in the cursor measurement. By rotating the con-
to
troller clockwise, the cursor line moves upward or
rightward:
by rotating counterclockwise, it moves
downward or leftward.
(§)
CURSORS
Cursor measurement mode select s w i t c h .
O F F :
Cursor measurement is not performed. The cur-
sor, and cursour measurement mode and cur-
sor measurement value are not displayed on
the C R T .
AMI:
T w o horizontal cursor lines are displayed on the
C R T , and voltage difference and voltage ratio
between them are displayed in the upper right
on the C R T posterior to the cursor measure-
ment mode display.
Setting the C H 1 V A R I A B L E controller (§)
the C A L position causes voltage
measurement, and a value calculated in accor-
dance with setting of the C H 1 V O L T S / D I V dial
(2) is displayed posterior to <4V1.
Setting the CH1 V A R I A B L E controller (§) to the
UNCAL position causes voltage ratio measure-
ment, and a value calculated assuming that 5 div.
is 1 0 0 % is displayed posterior to the RATIO.
When the
