Placing the Carrier in the Base

With the infant car seat installed, check that the
base is still level with the ground.

Push down and rotate
the handle to the
desired position until
it locks into place.
ALWAYS
handle in Position 1
or 3 while traveling in a
vehicle (page 18).

Releasing the Carrier from the Base

With the handle in
Position 1, squeeze the
base release lever on the
back of the child restraint,
rotate rear of seat up and
out of base, then lift the
carrier out.
