DIEMATIC Evolution - C140
If the central heating system is empty or the water pressure is too low, the
central heating system must be (re)filled. To do this, proceed as follows:
1. Check the water pressure of the central heating system shown on the
control panel display. If necessary, top up the central heating system.
2. Open the valves on every radiator in the central heating system.
3. Set the room thermostat to the lowest possible temperature.
4. Wait with refilling of the central heating system until the open radiators
are lukewarm or colder.

5. To top up, use a filling hose with two tap connectors, a cloth and a
bleed key.
6. Connect the filling hose to a cold water tap.
7. Remove air from the filling hose. Slowly fill the hose with water. Hold
the end of the hose up over a bucket. Close the tap as soon as water
flows out of the hose.

8. Unscrew the filling/draining valve cap.

9. Attach the filling hose to the filling/draining valve. Tighten the filling
hose properly.
10. Open the central heating system fill/drain valve.
11. Open the water tap.
12. Check the water pressure of the central heating system shown on the

control panel display.
13. Close the water tap when the water pressure reaches 2 bar.
14. Close the central heating system filling/draining valve. Leave the hose
on the filling/draining valve until the central heating system has been
vented.

Important
The filling/draining valve may not be close to the boiler.
Important
Topping up the water will add air to the central heating system:
Vent the central heating system.
After venting, the water pressure may drop below the required
level once again.
Check the water pressure of the central heating system shown
on the control panel display.
If the water pressure is lower than 0.8 bar, more water should
be added.
