It is essential that any air in the boiler, pipes or fittings is vented to prevent
noises occurring during heating or water draw-off.
To do this, proceed as follows:
1. Open the valves on all radiators connected to the heating system.
2. Set the heating set point to as high a temperature as possible.
3. Wait until the radiators are warm.
4. Switch the boiler off.
5. Wait around ten minutes until the radiators are cold.
6. Bleed the radiators. Start with the lower floors.
7. Open the bleed connection using the bleed key provided whilst
8. Wait until water begins to come out of the bleed valve, then close the

9. Switch on the boiler.
10. Check whether the pressure in the installation is still sufficient.

11. Set the heating set point.

It may be necessary to drain the central heating system if radiators need
to be replaced, if there is a major water leak or if there is a risk of freezing.
Proceed as follows:
keeping a rag pressed against the connection.

Caution
The water may still be hot.
Important
If the water pressure is lower than 0.8 bar, top up the water level
in the heating installation (recommended hydraulic pressure
between 1.5 and 2 bar).
