OVEN TROUBLESHOOTING

If there is a problem with your appliance, please check
the points listed below before calling for service. It may be
possible to avoid a call by fixing the problem yourself and
be able to continue cooking.
Problem
Possible cause
Oven or grill not working
Time of day is not set
Power is not turned on
Controls are incorrectly set
Oven is in 'Demo' mode
Household fuse has blown or circuit
breaker tripped
Child-proof oven lock is activated
Oven light not working
Light may be turned off at control panel
Lamp blown or loose socket
Household fuse has blown
Oven not heating enough
Foil trays on bottom of oven
A timer function is activated
Household fuse has blown or circuit
breaker tripped
Clock flashing on display
Power interruption
Unit smoking when first used
Protective oils being removed
Functions and temperature appear

Remedy
Set time of day
Switch on electricity
Reset controls
Exit Demo mode
Check fuses or circuit breakers
Deactivate child lock
Turn light on
Replace or tighten lamp
Check fuses
Remove foil trays
Refer timer functions
Check fuses or circuit breakers
Reset the time
Turn grill on high for 30mins and
then oven on 200º for 1 hour
Exit Demo mode
Turn light off
Replace or tighten lamp
Perform a check using a level to
verify cause (refer to installation
section). If not level refer to installer
Follow the procedure for cleaning
the cavity well. There may be some
minor residual marks after cleaning
Please have the following information ready: Model,
Number & Serial Number. This is shown on the data plate
which is visible when the oven door is open.

Indicates the time in minutes.
Activates and deactivates the Bridge function.
Activates and deactivates the Power function.
Increases or decreases the time.
Sets the Timer functions.
Sets the heat setting.
Activates and deactivates the manual mode of the Hob2Hood function.
