• Calibration link uses the same type of paper in the execution of color calibration to improve color
differences between not only the same type of printers, but also between printers of the same series
that support different page sizes.
Using Paper other than Canon Genuine Paper
To execute color calibration for paper other than Canon genuine paper, the custom media information file
containing a dedicated "calibration target" for the paper is required. For this, use Media Configuration Tool
(media management software).
If you register a custom media information file to the printer using Media Configuration Tool, you can
execute color calibration for paper other than Canon genuine paper.
