Chapter 7: BIOS
PCI-E 2.0 X1 OPROM
Use this feature to select which firmware type to be loaded for the add-on card in
this slot. The options are Disabled, Legacy, and EFI.
Onboard SAS Option ROM
Use this feature to select which firmware to be loaded for the onboard SAS Option
ROM. The options are Disabled, Legacy, and EFI.
Onboard LAN Option ROM Type
Use this feature to select which firmware to be loaded for the onboard LAN. The
options are Legacy and EFI.
Onboard LAN1 Option ROM
Use this option to select the type of device installed in LAN Port1 used for system
boot. The default setting for LAN1 Option ROM is PXE.
Onboard LAN2 ~ LAN8 Option ROM
Use this option to select the type of device installed in the specified LAN Ports
used for system boot. The options are Disabled and PXE.
Onboard Video Option ROM
Use this item to select the Onboard Video Option ROM type. The options are Dis-
abled, Legacy, and EFI.
VGA Priority
This feature allows the user to select the graphics adapter to be used as the primary
boot device. The options are Onboard and Offboard.
Network Stack
Select Enabled enable PXE (Preboot Execution Environment) or UEFI (Unified
Extensible Firmware Interface) for network stack support. The options are Enabled
and Disabled.
*If "Network Stack" is set to Enabled, the four items below will become
available for configuration:
IPv4 PXE Support
Select Enabled to enable IPv4 PXE boot support. The options are Disabled and
Enabled.
IPv6 PXE Support
Select Enabled to enable IPv6 PXE boot support. The options are Disabled and
Enabled.
