RS-232 Extender - Connecting the RS-232 Extender
Always switch off the power to each device before connecting it to your
RS-232 Extender. After connecting your RS-232 Extender, connect
its power and then switch on the power to each device.
Note! In the RS-232 Extender system, the CAT 5 cables carry
electrical power. Do NOT connect them to any other device. To avoid
this, we recommend that you attach the stickers provided to the ends
of the CAT 5 cable.
