PT-872xr, connect its power and then switch on the power to each device. We highly recommend using only Kramer UNIKAT cables with these products. If using 3 party shielded CAT-6A cables, both ends of the shield must be soldered to the connectors for the products to function properly. -

Kramer Electronics Ltd. Setting Compression Level PT-871xr, PT-872xr include a Compression Options DIP-switch (DIP-switch 1) that enables selecting the compression level. By default, the Compression Options DIP-switch (DIP-switch 1) is set to OFF (up = standard compression). Always set the DIP-switches identically for a connected transmitter and receiver. -
