This chapter provides basic information about the QNAP TS-x53B NAS.
About TS-x53B
TS-x53B is powered by a next generation Intel
frequency up to 2.3 GHz and dual-channel 4 GB or 8 GB RAM. The NAS comes with two gigabit LAN ports
that can be upgraded to a 10 GbE configuration for lightning-fast multi-tasking with low power consumption.
The TS-x53B supports 4K (H.264) video playback, and 1080P or 4K real-time transcoding.
With an accelerated AES-NI engine, the TS-x53B also provides AES 256-bit encryption to enhance system
performance and security, and to protect sensitive business data.
