6. Remove the case cover.
a. Remove the screws on the back of the NAS that connect the case cover to the chassis.
The number of screws varies depending on the model.
• TS-253B: 2 screws
• TS-453B: 3 screws
• TS-653B: 4 screws

b. Push down on the top of the case cover and then pull the chassis.
c. Pull the chassis to the right until it completely detaches from the case cover.
