Step 1.
Press and hold the release latch.
Step 2.
Lift the TPM card out of the server.
If you are instructed to return the component or optional device, follow all packaging instructions, and use
any packaging materials for shipping that are supplied to you.
Install the TPM card (for Chinese Mainland only)
Use this information to install the TPM card.
Before you install the TPM card, complete the following steps:
1. Read
"Safety" on page iii
2. Touch the static-protective package that contains the new TPM card to any unpainted surface on the
outside of the server. Then, take the new TPM card out of the package and place it on a static-protective
surface.
