MT HORIZONTAL MIXER WAGON
If during the preparation of the mix more fibre than recommended is added, the machine will not work
properly, provoking:
a) absorption of excessive power.
b) difficulty in mixing.
c) Increase of the mixing time.
d) overloading of the mixer leading to breakage
According to what it has been said, the following rule is very important:
DURING THE PREPARATION OF THE MIXTURE, MORE PRODUCTS MAY BE ADDED WHILE
THE MATERIALS CIRCLE CORRECTLY AND IT IS NOT OBSERVED THAT THE MACHINE
WORKS OVERLOADED, OR THAT RETENTIONS ARE PRODUCED.
General recommendations:
1.
The performance of the mixer will depend on the ingredients to be mixed and the quantities. The
operator will accumulate an experience during the use of the mixer.
2.
Introduce first dry ingredients, then flour or concentrates, then silage, and finally the fibre (straw,
alfalfa).
3.
When the fibre products are very rubbery, (depending on the experience in each case), dry
material should be added first, (cotton seed, concentrates, granules, etc.), so that the auger is
not empty when the hard fibres are added.
4.
Do not overload the mixer or load highly resistant fibrous ingredients very quickly.
5.
Depending on the ingredients that have to be mixed, it is better to carry out an extra mix each
day rather than overload the machine. In order to work properly the machine has been designed
to work on a certain work regime and load capacity, that if exceeded may cause loss of time and
unnecessary horsepower consumption.
6.
If for any reason the machine is stopped with the load, when the machine is started up again this
should be done in a gently manner, in order to obtain a progressive start up and prevent
breaking any component in the transmission.
3.5.

DISTRIBUTION OF THE MIX

The distribution of the mix is done through the unloading door and the conveyor. The conveyor can be fixed
or can be hydraulically folded. The door is located in the left side of the mixer, in the standard version. It is
possible to have another unloading door and conveyor in the other side
