POWER TAKEOFF

Towed mixers come equipped with a 540 power takeoff, completed with the adequate protective equipment.
A PTO shaft is provided. As an option, it can be requested with a single or a double CV PTO shaft.
Both types of PTO shaft can be provided with a fuse bolt. In this case, it is recommended to locate the fuse
bolts into the tractor's side, in order to prevent damages in the transmission.

The multiplicator activates the hydraulic pump is activated (the number of hydraulic pumps depends on the
model), and it provides the oil flow and pressure to the different mixer services.
The auger is operated directly from the power takeoff.
It is possible to incorporate a multiplicator with a second input, that allows to
invert the auger direction of the rotation (G). This is useful when the auger
gets jammed. In case of reverse rotation, do not allow the auger to continue
to turn for more than a few seconds, due to the fact that it could break the
screws.
Do not wear loose clothing when working with the power
takeoff.
Do not work without the power takeoff and the power shaft
protections in place as there is a trapping danger.
