CD-ROM/DVD/Diskette Drive Assembly

The following procedure describes how to replace the CD-ROM/DVD/Diskette
drive assembly.
1. Power off the system and remove the cover as described in "Powering Off the
Server and Removing the Cover" on page 4-2.
2. Unfasten the CD-ROM/DVD and diskette drive ribbon cables from the
motherboard (see
Caution – Use care with the small flat cables. They are extremely fragile.

3. Unfasten the single screw securing the CD-ROM/DVD/Diskette drive assembly to
